The Teresina Municipal Council approved a R$ 700 million loan for the city's City Hall. The bill authorizing the credit operation was approved by the council members and now goes to the Executive for sanction.
The funds may be used for various urban interventions in the capital of Piauí. Among the projects mentioned is the restructuring of Ponte João Claudino, popularly known as Ponte da UFPI, which is one of the main connecting routes in the city.
The construction of the future Ponte do Pesqueirinho is also planned, which will be built in the Santa Maria da Codipi area. The work is part of the municipal administration's plans to improve Teresina's road infrastructure and urban mobility.
