Marcelo Sangalo, the 16-year-old oldest son of singer Ivete Sangalo, impressed by appearing alongside his father, nutritionist Daniel Cady, during a trip to Pipa, in Rio Grande do Norte. The teenager is almost the same height as his father and caught the attention of followers with his physical appearance.
In July, Marcelo surprised again by appearing muscular on social media after a jiu-jitsu training session, a sport he has been practicing with his father since March. The young 16-year-old's physique impressed even his own mother, who posted the photo with the caption "My giant." Ivete Sangalo herself started training jiu-jitsu at the same gym as her son since June.
Among the comments on the post, Marcelo responded to his aunt, who had advised him not to use anabolic steroids. "Fight for the natural [way]," she advised him. The young man responded: "Aunt, I eat a lot of protein and good things. I'm not crazy enough to take any stuff with a pump." At 1.85 meters tall, Marcelo has been practicing sports since childhood, such as surfing, cycling, boxing, rowing, and snowboarding, in addition to regularly going to the gym for weight training.
