The next 2026 holiday will be in October; see the remaining dates

Portal O Dia8 September 2026 at 09:14

The next holiday of 2026 will occur in October, a month that will bring two dates of rest for Brazilian workers. This information is part of the official calendar of national holidays in the country for the remainder of the year.

Before October, however, there is a considerable gap without long weekends, since the summer months and early autumn have no scheduled national commemorative dates. This means that workers seeking long weekends will need to wait until October.

The month of November will concentrate three national holidays, becoming the busiest period of the calendar in terms of commemorative dates. This concentration of holidays occurs shortly before Christmas, which ends the end-of-year season.

The article aims to guide the population on planning trips, family events, and rest over the coming months, allowing workers to organize their schedules in advance.
