DAZN renews Formula 1 broadcasting rights until 2030

SAPO Notícias8 September 2026 at 11:39

The DAZN streaming platform announced the renewal of the Formula 1 broadcasting rights until 2030. The agreement guarantees that users will be able to continue watching all races, practice sessions, and qualifying rounds through the platform.

The contract is valid for the markets of Portugal and Spain, covering both Iberian countries. This extension guarantees continuity in Formula 1 coverage for fans in both countries.

Formula 1 is scheduled to return to the Portimão circuit in the Algarve in 2027. This will be one of the novelties on the calendar in the coming years, with Portugal once again hosting a World Championship race.

The renewal of rights by DAZN ensures that the platform maintains its position as the main provider of motorsport content for Portuguese and Spanish viewers over the coming years.
