The University of Minho will promote, between September 22 and 24, the UMinho Research & Innovation Open Days, an event that aims to bring the institution's research closer to companies, investors, and society in general. The event takes place at the Gualtar campus, in Braga.
One of the main moments of the initiative will be the Technology Showcase, which will present more than 50 prototypes and technologies developed by the university. This showcase represents the institution's effort to demonstrate its research and development capabilities.
The innovation projects presented during the event total an investment of 75 million euros, showing the magnitude of the work developed by the University of Minho in research and technological development.
The initiative comes in the context of an ongoing effort by Portuguese universities to establish partnerships with the business sector and create more direct communication channels between academic research and the needs of the market and society.
