Parliament meets this Tuesday to discuss and vote on the motion of censure presented by Chega against the Government. This is the confirmed date for the vote that was scheduled.
Chega's initiative was approved unanimously by the Standing Committee, which allowed its admission for discussion and voting in plenary. All members of this parliamentary body voted in favor of bringing the motion to debate.
Despite the unanimous approval in the Standing Committee, the motion should not cause any change in the Executive. The defeat is practically guaranteed, since Chega does not have sufficient parliamentary strength to bring down the Government.
The Chega party thus presented this motion of censure against the Government, following the procedural rules that now culminate in this vote scheduled for Tuesday.
