The union of pre-hospital emergency professionals admitted it may maintain the strike announced for this month, even after having received a counter-proposal from INEM. The union's position remains firm, having not accepted the conditions presented so far.

The union has already notified the Minister of Health about the situation and about the intention to continue with the protest. This communication was made officially, alerting the Ministry to the professionals' dissatisfaction.

Efforts are now underway to find a date for a new meeting, still this week, at the Ministry of Health. The objective of this encounter is to try to reach an agreement that prevents the announced strike from taking place.

The conflict arises in a context of dissatisfaction among pre-hospital emergency professionals, who claim inadequate working and salary conditions. The new round of negotiations will be decisive in knowing whether the strike will be avoided or whether users will have to face a service interruption still this month.
