Solidary Book Fair supports "End Polio Now" campaign

The II Solidary Book Fair will be held on October 19th, from 10 AM to 5 PM, at Parque das Termas da Curia. The event is jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Anadia and the Rotary Club of Coimbra-Saúde.

The main objective of this fair is to support the international "End Polio Now" campaign, an initiative of Rotary International that aims to eradicate polio worldwide.

The organizers intend to bring the local community together around a charitable cause, using literature as a means to raise awareness and funds for this public health campaign.

The responsible group reportedly departed from the district of Montepuez, in Cabo Delgado, a province rich in natural gas affected by insurgency since 2017.
