Two men and a Spanish company suspected of helping immigration

Observador8 September 2026 at 11:01

Two men and a company based in Spain have been named as defendants in a case related to illegal immigration. The defendants are suspected of bringing foreign workers into Elvas, a Portuguese city on the border with Spain, and exploiting them.

The illegal activity consisted of introducing these workers clandestinely into the Portuguese labor market. The suspects are believed to have profited more than 324 thousand euros from these practices, obtaining significant economic benefits through the exploitation of immigrant workers.

Authorities are investigating the activities of these defendants, who operated crossing the border between Spain and Portugal. The case involves issues of illegal immigration, clandestine labor, and exploitation of vulnerable workers.
