Two men and a company based in Spain have been named as defendants in a case related to illegal immigration. The defendants are suspected of bringing foreign workers into Elvas, a Portuguese city on the border with Spain, and exploiting them.
The illegal activity consisted of introducing these workers clandestinely into the Portuguese labor market. The suspects are believed to have profited more than 324 thousand euros from these practices, obtaining significant economic benefits through the exploitation of immigrant workers.
