PISA 2025: OECD Students Worsen in Science, Math and Reading

The PISA 2025 results reveal that 15-year-old students in OECD countries show worse performance in Science, Math and Reading compared to previous assessments. The international study shows a declining trend in these students' skills.

One in five 15-year-old students in the OECD has low performance simultaneously in Science, Math and Reading. This data shows a significant drop in the academic preparation of young people in this age group.

The study also indicates that socioeconomic inequalities have decreased among students. However, this reduction occurred mainly because more advantaged students worsened their results, and not due to an improvement among students in a more disadvantaged socioeconomic situation.
