SIC Notícias8 September 2026 at 11:11

The United Kingdom committed to mobilizing more than 116 million euros to reinforce Ukraine's air defense. This contribution represents a significant effort to strengthen Ukrainian military capacity against Russian air attacks.

London also announced its intention to provide more than 120,000 drones to Ukraine during this year. This number includes a wide range of unmanned aerial equipment for various military purposes.

Among the promised drones are interceptors specifically designed to shoot down Russian drones. This technology allows Ukraine to counter aerial threats coming from the Russian Federation.

So far, 25,000 drones have already been delivered under this commitment, representing significant progress in British military support to Ukraine.
