The PISA 2025 study, the largest international study on education, revealed that almost half of Portuguese youth already uses artificial intelligence as a study tool. This data comes within the scope of the evaluation of educational systems of several countries.
The research also shows that students who get distracted by screens show poorer academic performance. This phenomenon is related to the time spent on digital activities not related to studies.
PISA regularly evaluates 15-year-old students from dozens of countries, measuring competencies in areas such as reading, mathematics and sciences, in addition to collecting data on learning habits and conditions.
