Nearly half of young Portuguese students are already using artificial intelligence tools for studying, according to a recent study. The study also reveals that many students get distracted during class.
The data shows that students who get distracted by screens perform worse academically when compared to peers who report not getting distracted. This academic performance difference is significant between the two groups.
The study thus addresses the relationship between technology use, including AI, and student behavior in Portuguese classrooms.
