Brazil has been stagnant in learning for ten years and more than half of students are below the basic learning level, according to the results of the Programme for International Student Assessment (Pisa) 2025, released this Tuesday. Despite this, the country appeared positively in at least three aspects analyzed in the program's questionnaire.

Among the positive points is the evaluation that Brazilian students make of their teachers compared to other countries in the world. When evaluating Science teachers, the focus area of this edition of Pisa, 82% of students reported that the teacher demonstrates interest in each student's learning most of the time.

Another favorable aspect is the evolution of schools without cell phones in Brazil, a topic that has gained attention in recent educational policies. Additionally, there was a significant reduction in the proportion of young people who do not see meaning in education, indicating a change in perception among Brazilian students.
