Nearly half of Portuguese 15-year-old students already use artificial intelligence tools to study. This finding comes from a study that analyzed the digital habits of Portuguese students.
Students spend on average one hour and 24 minutes per day at school using digital devices for learning. Additionally, they dedicate another 1.2 hours in front of screens for leisure activities.
The study reveals that many students get distracted during class with electronic devices. Students who admitted to getting distracted by screens show worse academic performance when compared to peers who say they do not get distracted.
