The Imaginarius Festival reached an "unprecedented" number of international applications. A total of 1,200 proposals were submitted by artists from 84 countries under the International Call for 2027 of the festival.

Spain, Brazil, and France lead the ranking of applications received. The festival, which is dedicated to performing arts and creativity, received widespread attention from artists around the world.

The 2027 edition of Imaginarius promises to be one of the most international ever, reflecting the growing global interest in the festival and its approach to contemporary performing arts.
