The extraordinary national exam season in Portugal ends today, after a period marked by technical problems that caused failures in the issuance of student grades. This was an extraordinary session held outside the regular exam schedule.
On the final day of this season, students take on Monday the exams in Drawing A, Physics and Chemistry A, Geography A and English. These are the last tests that complete the set of exams for this extraordinary session.
National exams are conducted in Portugal as part of the secondary education assessment system, being necessary for access to higher education. The extraordinary session is normally intended for students who were unable to participate in the regular season or who needed to retake exams.
