A supermarket employee at Mexican chain Super Rey became a hero in southern Mexico. The man was working with a forklift when he spotted a child running towards the road in the city of Puebla.

The little girl was being accompanied by adults at the time of the incident. One of those companions ended up stumbling, leaving the child unsupervised as she headed towards the public road.

The employee managed to react quickly and grabbed the child in time, preventing her from being run over. The moment was dramatic, but ended with a happy outcome.

The courageous act of the Super Rey worker caught the attention of the local community, who began treating him as a true superhero.
