The French church expects to spend 27 million euros on the visit of Pope Leo XIV to the country, which takes place between September 25-28. The organization is requesting donations to help cover the high costs associated with the event.

Pope Leo XIV is expected to visit three French cities: Paris, Lourdes and Metz. The trip represents one of the most significant visits of the pontificate to French territory.

More than 700 thousand people are already registered to participate in the papal visit events. The high number of participants reflects the importance that the visit has for French faithful and for the Catholic community in general.
