The September 7th demonstration on Paulista Avenue, in São Paulo, was promoted by Senator Flávio Bolsonaro, presidential candidate for the PL party, and brought together three candidates for state governorships: Tarcísio de Freitas (Republicanos), Douglas Ruas (PL), and Sérgio Moro (PL), respectively candidates for the governments of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Paraná.
Only the governor of São Paulo, Tarcísio de Freitas, gave a speech at the event. The main theme of the demonstration was the critical stance toward Justice Alexandre de Moraes of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), in an electoral context.
Tarcísio's speech was more moderate compared to the same event from the previous year. He mentioned Alexandre de Moraes, saying that the recent revelations about the justice's connection to former banker Daniel Vorcaro should be explained, and defended that the court needed to give an institutional response regarding Moraes's conduct.
