The new Quaest poll published this Monday shows the scenario for the first round of the presidential election. Lula appears in the lead with 36% of voting intentions, followed by Flavio Bolsonaro with 29%. Augusto Cury figures with 8%, while the other candidates together add up to 9% of preferences.
The survey also reveals that 10% of voters remain undecided, while 8% say they will not vote for any candidate. Lula's seven-point lead over Flavio Bolsonaro in the first round is mentioned as relevant to the dynamics of the race.
With less than 30 days until the first round, the race remains tight and calcified, according to the analysis. The September 7th parade is pointed out as a crucial moment that may mark the effective start of the electoral race, should Hélio Garcia's historical phrase remain valid.
