Elvas assumed this Monday, September 7, the presidency of the Eurocity Badajoz-Elvas-Campo Maior (EuroBEC), during an event that brought together the representatives of the three municipalities that make up this cross-border cooperation structure. The transfer of the presidency follows the EuroBEC Cooperation Protocol, which establishes a rotating presidency, for periods of one year, between the municipalities of Badajoz, Elvas and Campo Maior.
