The city of Castelló celebrated its cultural talent with the presentation of the Premis Ciutat de Castelló 2026, at a gala held at the Teatro Principal de Castelló. The event was attended by numerous authorities and representatives from the cultural, festive, and local society spheres.
The mayor of Castelló, Begoña Carrasco, chaired the ceremony, accompanied by the councilor for Culture, María España, and other councilors from the municipal executive. Among the authorities present were the president of the Corts, Llanos Masó, the Secretary for Transparency and Participation, Carmen Uriol, the provincial deputy Vicente Pallerés, Senator Susana Marqués, the Vice-Rector for Culture at UJI, Raquel Agost, the director of the CEU Cardenal Herrera Campus, José María Mira de Orduña, and the consul of Romania, Bogdan Stanescu.
Also in attendance at the event were the Festes Queens 2026, Clara Sanz and Ana Colón, among other representatives from the cultural and festive world of Castelló.
