Bad weather: Leiria approves line to purchase generators

The Municipal Council of Leiria approved a support line aimed at purchasing generators. The objective of this measure is, according to councilor Ana Valentim, "to increase the response capacity of institutions in emergency situations". The support to be granted corresponds to 50% of the equipment's value. This initiative comes in the context of bad weather, seeking to reinforce the preparation of the municipality's institutions to deal with potential emergencies.
