The Coimbra City Council decided to maintain the tax values for 2027, following the same values practiced in 2026. This decision was approved with the favorable votes of the coalition Avançar Coimbra.
The former council member of Chega also voted in favor of maintaining the fiscal values. On the other hand, four of the five members of the coalition Juntos Somos Coimbra chose to abstain from the vote.
This decision means that Coimbra taxpayers will not face municipal tax increases next year, with fiscal rates remaining unchanged compared to the current year.
