The municipal opposition criticized at the City Council meeting the 400-meter transfer in the city center, related to the changes in public transport that come into force from Thursday.
Councilwoman Ana Bastos was the main voice of criticism from the opposition, questioning the proposed reformulation of the transport network.
The planned changes include a transfer point that will require passengers to walk about 400 meters in the lower area of the city to make connections between different transport lines.
The transport reformulation was approved to come into operation from Thursday, having been the subject of debate at the City Council meeting where the opposition expressed its dissatisfaction with the solution found.
