Planted in gardens and placed in vases, this plant is one of the most dangerous for health and has already invaded more than 200 municipalities

The plant in question, although commonly found in gardens and vases, represents one of the greatest risks to public health. Studies warn that the species has significant allergenic potential, and can directly affect human health through its pollen.

The species has already managed to spread to more than 200 municipalities, becoming a growing environmental concern. Its invasive nature contributes to the continuous expansion of the problem to new regions.

Due to its late flowering, this exotic plant creates a second pollen exposure season, concentrated in autumn. This particularity is especially relevant in Mediterranean regions, where there are already other sources of allergenic pollen.

Experts warn about the implications of this situation for public health, considering that prolonged exposure to allergens represents a growing risk for the population.
