Elon Musk's daughter challenges robots and the algorithm in another controversial Desigual campaign

El Periódico Mediterráneo - General7 September 2026 at 18:07

Vivian Wilson, Elon Musk's eldest daughter and a recognized trans personality in the LGBTQI+ movement, has become the star of Desigual's new advertising campaign called "Born to disobey". This collaboration marks another controversial campaign by the Spanish fashion brand.

The young woman has had no relationship with her father for several years, and the advertisement can be interpreted as a direct message to Elon Musk and his businesses related to artificial intelligence and robotics. The campaign ironizes about a future marked by robots and artificial intelligence.

The choice of Vivian Wilson as the protagonist is not casual. The model, who is a reference within the LGBTQI+ movement, challenges both robots and the algorithm in this campaign, aligning perfectly with the "disobey" concept that Desigual aims to convey.

The Secretary of State for Agriculture, João Moura, defended the need to attract more young women to agricultural education and sciences, also highlighting the importance of valuing national products in international markets. The president of the Municipal Council, Carlos Pinto de Sá, emphasized that women's presence in agriculture is not a recent phenomenon, although public recognition of this work has fallen short of its true dimension, highlighting the current assertion of women as entrepreneurs and managers of agricultural holdings.
