"Dançando com a Diferença" brings Cristina Planas Leitão to Madeira for an open seminar

The company "Dançando com a Diferença" announced the arrival of artist Cristina Planas Leitão to Madeira to run a seminar open to the community. The seminar, titled "Radical Softness", will take place from September 21 to 25, from 9am to 1pm.

The sessions will take place at the company's studio, located in Armazém do Mercado, in Funchal. The event is aimed at the general public and registrations are already open, although with limited spots available.

Father Aires Gameiro launches new book about the hospitality of St. John of God on October 2nd

Father Aires Gameiro, from the Hospital Order of St. John of God, will present his new book "St. John of God and the Dimensions of his Hospitality – Monographic Essays" in Funchal on October 2nd, at 5:30 PM, at the Rectory of the University of Madeira. Published by Manufactura, the 336-page book brings together essays on the life, action, and spiritual legacy of St. John of God, founder of the Hospital Order, addressing the dimensions of hospitality, mercy, and service to the most vulnerable. The work will also be presented in Fátima on October 8th. The presentation in Funchal will be by Paula Margarido, and in Fátima by Professor Marco Daniel Duarte.
