Peñíscola kicks off its festivities with the 'Crida'

Peñíscola began this Monday its 11 days of festivities. The inaugural act took place at noon, when the 2025 queen and her court of honor starred in the traditional Crida from the town hall balcony.

During the event, the characteristic rituals of this festive opening act were carried out, including the ringing of bells and the firing of announcement fireworks, which symbolically mark the beginning of the celebrations in the city.

Peñíscola's festivities will last 11 days, offering an extensive program of activities and events for residents and visitors. The participation of the queen and her court of honor in the inaugural moment reflects the tradition of these celebrations, which feature representative figures chosen for this purpose.
