The Academic and Humanitarian Association of the Volunteer Firefighters of Caldas das Taipas has officially opened recruitment for a new Recruit School, inviting men and women to join the corporation with the motto "There are missions that mark. There are choices that transform. Choose to be a firefighter." The association reinforces the message "United we are stronger" as an appeal to participation in this recruitment campaign.

To apply, interested candidates must be between 17 and 45 years old, have the legally recognized minimum mandatory education in Portugal, and present physical and psychological robustness adequate to the demands of the role. A spirit of teamwork and mutual aid among candidates is also valued.

The training aims to prepare new members for an activity that requires availability, responsibility, and the ability to work as a team, having courage, unity, dedication, and commitment as its pillars. The goal is to train firefighters prepared for life protection missions and community service.

Registration is now open and can be done in person at the Caldas das Taipas Volunteer Firefighters' station or through an online form provided by the corporation.
