IP3 with traffic restrictions between Coimbra and Viseu until Wednesday

SAPO Notícias7 September 2026 at 17:51

Several sections of the Itinerário Principal (IP) 3 between Coimbra and Viseu will be restricted during this Tuesday and Wednesday, due to duplication and road upgrading works.

Infraestruturas de Portugal announced these restrictions, which follow a closure already carried out on Monday between the Mortágua and Santa Comba Dão junctions, in the Coimbra/Viseu direction.

New road intervention works are planned during the coming days, maintaining the need for traffic restrictions in the affected sections.

Motorists should pay attention to the signage and restrictions implemented on the road during this construction period.
