PSP reinforced in schools for the start of the new school year in safety

PSP's presence is reinforced from this Monday in the vicinity of educational establishments. This security reinforcement will remain in place until September 25.

The police will be present on the students' home-school and school-home routes. This reinforcement also covers the areas around educational establishments.

The objective is to guarantee the safety of students, teachers, parents and operational assistants during the start of the new school year. All these groups are covered by the police reinforcement.

This initiative falls under the Safe School Programme, which aims to promote a safe environment in Portuguese schools.
