Airport: Benavente will create a business hub and aims for 100 million euros in business

The Benavente City Council intends to develop a business hub with an area of 32 hectares near Luís de Camões Airport. The project aims to attract companies to the area and boost the municipal economic activity.

The municipal Executive estimates that the installation of these companies may generate a business volume of 100 million euros. This value represents the expected turnover that the businesses installed in the new hub may achieve.

The Luís de Camões Airport serves as the main reference for this development, functioning as the articulating element of the project. The proximity to the airport infrastructure is seen as an added value to attract investments and companies to the region.

Benavente is thus the municipality responsible for promoting this initiative, which aims to take advantage of the strategic location next to the airport to attract companies and create jobs in the area.
