GNR detains 43 people and records 162 accidents in the district of Braga

The GNR detained 43 people in the district of Braga between August 31 and September 7, as part of operations to prevent and combat crime and road accidents. Of those detained, 20 were caught driving under the influence of alcohol, six for driving without a legal license, and four for domestic violence. During the same period, 162 accidents were registered in the district. The operations aimed simultaneously at public safety and the prevention of accidents on the region's roads.
