The European Union will invest 200 million euros in Greenland over this year and next, in a new partnership package announced by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during a visit to Nuuk.
The agreement provides for investments in sectors considered strategic, including satellite and cable connectivity, hydroelectric energy and raw materials.
The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, traveled to the Greenlandic capital, Nuuk, to personally announce this investment package, reinforcing the partnership between the European Union and the Danish autonomous territory.
