This morning, September 7th, the Tribute Roundabout to the Volunteer Firefighters of Vendas Novas was inaugurated. This celebration coincided with the 100th anniversary of the volunteer firefighters of the region.

The initiative was joint, with the participation of the Municipality of Vendas Novas and the Parish Council of Vendas Novas, which worked in partnership to carry out this tribute.

The monument was erected as a way to recognize and honor the volunteer firefighters for their work and dedication over a century of existence.

The inauguration ceremony took place during the morning, symbolically marking this important date for the local community and for the volunteer firefighters.
