The City Council of Benavente intends to develop a business park of approximately 32 hectares associated with the future Luís de Camões Airport. The information was sent by the municipality to the Lus news agency regarding the Operational Planning and Management Unit (UOPG) 4.

The municipality estimates that the installation of companies in this area could generate a business volume exceeding 100 million euros. This area is intended for the installation of business activities linked to the future airport.

Benavente is thus preparing to welcome companies and economic activities that will benefit from the proximity of the new Luís de Camões Airport, with the municipality expecting a significant economic impact in the region with this development.
