The Port and Douro Wine Institute, I.P. (IVDP) announced the winners of the Douro + Sustainable Awards. The award announcement event took place at the Porto Wine Museum, located at Rua da Reboleira, No. 37, in the city of Porto.

The announcement ceremony took place on September 10, a Thursday, at 6:30 PM. During the event, the IVDP also presented a new event dedicated to the international promotion of Port Wine.

The Douro + Sustainable Awards aim to distinguish projects and initiatives that promote sustainability in the Douro region. The IVDP, as the body responsible for the regulation and promotion of Douro and Port Wines, organizes these awards as a way to recognize efforts in the area of sustainability.
