The XXIV International Canarias-Madeira Regatta 2026 came to an end after five days of competition. The event consisted of an oceanic crossing of approximately 262 nautical miles between Tenerife and Madeira, and was a particularly demanding edition for the participating crews.
The festive conclusion of the regatta took place at Quinta Calaça, the venue that hosted the final celebrations of the event. The 2026 edition was marked not only by the physical and technical challenge of the crossing, but also by the strong spirit of camaraderie among the participants.
According to the note sent to the editorial team, the organization managed to provide a strong reception component for the crews, contributing to the competitors' experience going beyond pure nautical competition. The regatta remains one of the most important events in the nautical sporting calendar between the Canary Islands and Madeira.
