The fifth edition of the Street Football Tournament ended on Sunday, September 6, after three days of competition that featured around 1,600 players distributed across 120 teams in various locations throughout the municipality of Espinho.
The last day concentrated most of the activity at Praça do Mar and Rio Largo, with the decisive matches taking place. In the Benjamins A, UD Oliveirense B defeated AD Barroselas 3-0 at the Mercedes and Pereira field, while in the Benjamins B the Leões Bairristas defeated Associação João Moutinho 2-1 at the RSTAR field.
In the Infantis age groups, SC Torreense defeated FC Crestuma 3-0 at the Mercedes and Pereira field, and the Infantis B final ended in a 1-1 draw between Académico de Viseu A and UD Oliveirense A, with the team from Viseu winning the penalty shootout 1-0.
In addition to the competitive aspect, the tournament included adapted football with around 140 participants from 10 CERCI from the Porto and Aveiro districts, as well as pilates classes, urban golf, performances by GymnoStar, Lean Cruz, the musical Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Praça Progresso, and closing rusgas to wrap up the edition.
