Two men, aged 37 and 53, were arrested in Ponta Delgada, on the Azorean island of São Miguel, on suspicion of drug trafficking. The arrest was carried out by the Public Security Police (PSP) of the Azores Regional Command.
The suspects were found in possession of 43,205 doses of illicit substances. After their arrest, they were brought before a court, where the preventive detention measure was applied.
The case was revealed through a statement from the Azores Regional Command of the PSP. No further information was disclosed about the substances seized or other details of the police operation.
