Hospital de Aveiro starts bronchoscopies with anesthetic support

Hospital de Aveiro began this month performing bronchoscopies with anesthetic support. The new service was announced by the Local Health Unit (ULS) of the Aveiro Region, which manages the hospital.

The main objective of this change is to make the procedure more comfortable for patients. Bronchoscopy is an examination that allows visualization of the airways and lungs.

With anesthetic support, patients can now undergo the procedure in better conditions, without discomfort during the examination. This improvement in the service aims to benefit all users who need this diagnostic examination at Hospital de Aveiro.
