The OECD publishes this Tuesday worldwide the 2025 edition of the PISA report, the exam that the international economic organization administers every three years in 90 countries to 15-year-old students, most of whom are in the 4th year of secondary education. The educational community and political authorities await the results with anticipation.
The 2022 edition of PISA, the first after the pandemic, presented devastating results. On that occasion, Spain fell in all three competencies that PISA assesses: mathematics, language, and sciences. However, the Spanish decline was less than that recorded in other neighboring countries.
Once PISA 2025 is published, it will be possible to know whether students improved their performance, remained stable, or worsened. The data will be analyzed in depth in the coming days to determine trends and possible factors that may have influenced student performance.
