The Évora Football Association has set a goal to reach six thousand football and futsal practitioners in the district. The president of the entity, António Pereira, considered the creation of an academy fundamental to achieving this objective. The statements were made to DianaFM.
The official linked the academy project to the ambition of involving more than 4% of the district's population in the practice of both sporting modalities. This is an ambitious percentage that will require significant growth in the region's practitioner base.
The goal of six thousand practitioners should be part of the new strategic plan currently being prepared by the Évora Football Association. This document will define the guiding principles for the development of football and futsal in the region in the coming years.
