The Government is preparing measures to subsidize the cost of diesel used in agriculture. The objective is to curb the rise in agricultural product prices, a sector in which the Executive is entirely focused. This subsidy comes in response to the increase in production costs in the primary sector.
The remaining economic sectors are on hold for now, not benefiting from similar measures. The Executive has chosen to prioritize agriculture before moving forward with support for other areas.
The Minister of Economy and Territorial Cohesion confirmed that the Executive is focused on the agricultural sector. The agricultural diesel subsidy represents one of the main measures under consideration to support producers.
