José Manuel Freitas, journalist, commented on the Now channel, in a debate with Paulo Catarro, on Jakub Kaminski's performance in the Marítimo - Benfica match. The Polish winger came on for Alexander Bah in a more defensive position, acting as a right-back for the first time in the red side's team.
Freitas stated that Kaminski did not impress and considered him merely a last resort solution. "From what I saw, I didn't find anything special," he declared, adding that he does not believe the signing can become an alternative for Benfica's football.
The journalist was even more forceful in stating that Kaminski will never play as a right-back again. "Kaminski, being an attacking midfielder/winger, his vocation is offensive, so defensively he doesn't give many guarantees," he explained, guaranteeing that Benfica will not use this solution again.
Before the match against Marítimo, Kaminski had accumulated only 163 minutes for Benfica, having been an unused substitute in the encounters against Aarhus and Estoril.
