Luxury housing rents in Lisbon rose by 7.6%, representing one of the largest increases among 30 global cities analyzed by real estate consultancy Savills. This growth places the Portuguese capital among the most dynamic markets in the high-end segment.
The rental market in this segment is being driven by the shortage of supply for sale, which has led to growing demand for rental solutions. The lack of available options for purchase has directed more investors and residents toward the luxury rental market.
According to Savills data, the value of rents in this segment in Lisbon already surpasses records from cities like Madrid and Berlin, demonstrating the growing competitiveness of the Portuguese real estate market in the European context. This situation reflects the continued attractiveness of Lisbon for the premium segment.
