The refineries of oil giant Saudi Aramco located near Yemen were targeted in new attacks. These industrial facilities are located in a sensitive region, given their proximity to Yemeni territory.
The Jizan refinery is highlighted as one of the most important in the Saudi oil complex. This facility is responsible for processing 400,000 barrels of oil per day, making it one of the largest oil refining complexes in Saudi Arabia.
The attack represents an escalation of tensions in the region, affecting critical infrastructure for the kingdom's oil production and export. Saudi Aramco, the Saudi state-owned company, owns the refineries that were targeted.
