From Pabllo Vittar to Anitta: 15 times Brazilians participated in international shows at Rock in Rio

The Black Eyed Peas returned to Rock in Rio this Sunday (6) and delivered another performance marked by the presence of Brazilian artists. Producer Papatinho took the Mundo Stage to play "Rap da Felicidade" and, alongside will.i.am, presented the new track "WE LIVE UP IN HERE", a new collaboration between the Brazilian and the American group.

The Black Eyed Peas' relationship with Brazilian music dates back to other editions of the festival. In 2019, the group received Anitta on stage to sing "Don't Lie" and "eXplosion". In 2017, Fergie, then a member of the band, invited Pabllo Vittar to sing "Sua Cara" and "Glamorous" and also shared the stage with Sérgio Mendes in "Mas Que Nada".

Throughout the festival's history, other Brazilian artists also made special appearances alongside international names. Ivete Sangalo took the stage with Shakira, while Djavan shared the space with Santana, representing the connection between Brazilian music and world-renowned artists at Rock in Rio.
